The Declaration of results of the elections for West Sussex and West Surrey were published on Friday 8th May 2026 following the counting of votes during that day.

Jim polled 57 votes (1%) in the Horsham Riverside Division of the new unitary authority of West Sussex where there was a turnout of 43.6% of the electorate. He also polled 190 votes in the Horsham Parish Council elections where he stood in Chesworth and Oakhill Ward.

John polled 100 votes (1%) in Guildford West Ward of the West Surrey Council where there was a turnout of 35.5%.

Both candidates wish to thank all those in so many ways who helped them achieve creditable results at a time when voters were being offered choices of five or more “major parties”.

We reminded ourselves that only the Peace Party stands absolutely for the resolution of conflict by non-violent means through the application of human values – the love of all human life, the treating of every other as they would wish to be treated themselves.
