Workshop Meeting – Preparation for the General Election

A workshop meeting to prepare Peace Party activists for the General Election is to take place on Saturday, 28th September, 2019 at a venue in Surrey.

In the morning we will be focussing on

“Politics with Kindness as a Guiding Principle”,

Being clear on why we stand in elections (and not like any other “peace” pressure group like CND, CAAT or PPU),

Preparing short statements for use on leaflets, posters, this website, our Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Following lunch we will consider

“Building a Global Security System: An Alternative to War”: how we say we would keep Britain secure without militarism,

Preparation of key points for a short “hustings” speech.
